Upcoming Maintenance

04/30/26- 08:00 AM to 05//1/2026-14:00 PM EDT	ADAPT, Prism GPU environments.	The NCCS will have a complete outage of all Prism GPU environments (including V100, GraceHopper, and GraceGrace nodes) starting Thursday, April 30th at 8:00 AM, lasting until Friday, May 1st at 12:00 PM. This downtime is required to physically relocate hardware and adjust network paths to accommodate a new system. While systems may return online by Thursday evening, the outage window extends to Friday at noon to account for any unforeseen delays.
05/20/26   07:00-11:00 EDT	License Server VMs Impacting Discover, EDB1, hpcscvs21 (cvs) and hpcstrac21 (progress)	Security patching and package updates on the license server VMs, hpcscvs21 and hpcstrac21.The impact of this maintenance is that licenses for PGI compilers and TotalView may be briefly unavailable. Licenses for the Intel compilers, MATLAB, and IDL should continue to be available. For EDB1, the databases, gmao_stats and semper will be unavailable during this downtime.

04/22/26 08:00-14:00 EDT	ADAPT, DataPortal, GIS services, GPU, PRISM, Explore, Windows.	CCDS (Cloud Computing Data Services) Consolidated Monthly Maintenance (ADAPT, DataPortal, Prism GPU, Explore, Windows) will include the following maintenance activities: Security patches on the ADAPT and DataPortal Linux VMs, Windows Server Security Patching and security patches/modifications on ADAPT VMs.The ABoVE slurm cluster software will be updated during maintenance. User issues are not anticipated following the update.These activities will result in the above-mentioned systems being unavailable for portions, or all, of the specified maintenance window. (Completed)
