Reid Ormseth
HPC ARCHITECT
Reid is the HPC Architect for the NASA Advanced Computing Services (NACS) contract, with a purview that includes the NCCS and NAS at Ames Research Center. Reid is also the lead for the Advanced Technology group at the NCCS working on Scalable Unit upgrades, ADAPT Self-Provisioning and multiple public and private cloud efforts. Prior to joining the NCCS, Reid has 20 years of experience supporting HPC efforts at a number of commercial and government institutions including the Air Force Research Laboratory, NOAA and multiple Fortune 500 companies.
