// DataPortal

The DataPortal empowers NCCS users to share data produced on NCCS computing systems with the scientific community and the public. User datasets include weather and climate forecasts from the NASA Global Modeling and Assimilation Office(GMAO), Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 and 6 (CMIP5/6) climate projections (GMAO and GISS), climate reanalyses, and land information systems (LIS).

This system hosts a variety of data services, including https download, THREDDS, GDS, ArcGIS, ESGF, CREATE-V, and FLUID. In many cases, this virtual environment can be expanded to meet the data services requirements of our users.

The DataPortal supports Weather Analysis and Forecasts, Climate Model Intercomparisons, NASA Missions (e.g. SMAP, Aerosols), Land Information Systems, Reanalysis Intercomparisons, Disaster Response, and Landslide Reporting and Viewing.

Data Sharing & Tools

The NCCS has expanded its user support by housing data collections, providing powerful data tools, and offering scientists the means to share their research and datasets.
