Experience at NCCS
"This summer at NCCS I was able to experience my first time working with a team to accomplish a task and further an organization towards its goals. My task was to develop a kiosk to display the supercomputing capabilities we have here at NCCS. I was lucky enough to be able to sit down with the NCCS communications team on a bi-weekly basis to discuss the team goals and receive feedback on the kiosk I was developing. Another first I had was at the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Science Jamboree, where I had my kiosk on display for public use. This was the first time I was able to see real users interact with something I had developed. It gave be great insight into what the users expected to be able to do, which then allowed me to create a more fluid user interface. Overall, I had a great experience at NCCS this summer and hope to be back soon."
