Discover-JupyterHub

Discover Jupyter Hub services will be unavailable while maintenance is performed. All running Jupyter Hub sessions and Jupyter Hub batch jobs will be terminated prior to the downtime. Users should save any work prior to the maintenance starting to ensure no work is lost.

CCDS (Cloud Computing Data Services) Consolidated Monthly Maintenance (ADAPT, DataPortal, Prism GPU, Explore, Windows) will include the following maintenance activities:

Security patches on the ADAPT and DataPortal Linux VMs, Windows Server Security Patching and security patches/modifications on ADAPT VMs.

These activities will result in the above-mentioned systems being unavailable for portions, or all, of the specified maintenance window.

License Server VMs Impacting Discover, EDB1, hpcscvs21 (cvs) and hpcstrac21 (progress)

Security patching and package updates on the license server VMs, hpcscvs21 and hpcstrac21.

The impact of this maintenance is that licenses for PGI compilers and TotalView may be briefly unavailable. Licenses for the Intel compilers, MATLAB, and IDL should continue to be available. For EDB1, the databases, gmao_stats and semper will be unavailable during this downtime.
